What bridging service do you use to meet your videconferencing requirements? Are you fairly happy with them or do you have horror stories. Do share :D

We use three - Avaya, Tandberg and Polycom. Of course the Avaya is soon on it's way to the yacht club as a boat anchor, but it has served generally flawlessly for about 6 years. We are setting up two new bridge sites now with the other two, mainly because they are IP capable and the Avaya will not be supported in the near future. No real issues for or against any of them to date.

OOPS!! Should have read the original post. We do our own bridging and do not have much experience with commercial bridge providers. Now if you want to talk about carrier providers......

Are you refering to outside bridging service companies or actual bridges for use on your own network?

Sorry. No expereince with service companies.
We also have our own bridge but HQ does not. They always use MCI the service is good but it can be expensive..

Hello to all. I'm new to the site but, aside form the multiple forums, is a great video dialogue avenue.
Have you checked out Masergy Communications? www.masergy.com?
They are a global service provider, using MPLS, via RFC 2547, providing a 100% in-sequence packet delivery enforcebale SLA and they just won the PolyCom RFP.
Thanks for letting me post.

We have utilized MCI and SBC. Both were very good, but their costs are high.

W use our own Accord MGC-100, or an old leagacy VTEL MCU-II when port availability is low (I can't belive the thing still works!). Being a DOD organization, we also use the DVS network occasionally, and other DOD owned/rented/leased/whatever bridging services, but I prefer to go thorugh my own.
