Forum Terms of Use
This post should go without saying but it is important enough that we feel it should be addressed. There are a few rules when posting information in this forum that must be adhered to.
WARNING: Failure to comply with the following forum rules will result in the immediate deletion of your post, and permanent banning from these forums. No warnings, no exceptions.
1] When posting in these forums please use proper OPSEC at all times. Posting classified or sensitive information of any form or security level is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to:
-IP addresses of testing systems or any other video conferencing or network equipment owned by your respective government. (If you'd like to exchange IP addresses for testing please use the Private Message feature of this site to exchange government email addresses).
-Discussions containing information communicated during a secure government conference.
-Commercial or government dialup numbers to government owned network equipment.
2] Be courteous to representatives of foreign government networks. Arguments containing derogatory or inflammatory remarks concerning said entities are prohibited.
3] While we understand that detailed disscussion is sometimes necessary to help troubleshoot a problem or decide on a vendor, detailed disscussion of proprietary information regarding a given network is prohibited.
In summary. Just use good OPSEC and just plain old common sense when you are posting here. If something seems like it might not be appropriate to discuss in a public forum it probably is.
