Multiplexer

I recently had a system where I was running 4 camera inputs into a multiplexer, and then into a recorder to record all 4 images at the same time in split screen mode. I have reduced my number of camera inputs to two, and am looking for a way to do the same but with a 2 window split screen instead of the quad. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Do we have any ideas that are a little less expensive. The multiplexer we were using was about $700, this is about $4500.

you can try Panasonic's cctv products...I do not have any recent experience with them but did a few years ago....they always seemed to be reliable and relatively inexpensive..good luck
