We have a customer who is still using a Venue 2000 (please dont ask why), but someone has been playing with it and managed to enter a password for the admin settings. As they claim they didn't know what they were doing they also don't know what the password is. Any one know how to reset these?
Many Thanks

Hi John
would I be right in thinking that this is blocking their route to the configuration menu where you get the choice to restore factory settings? :)

Yip, hence the dilema.
This job would be easy if it wasn't for the users.

I guess a reinstall of the software might fix it. Lets face it, its a chargeable offence anyway:D

Honka's right, 111263 is the birthdate of one of the engineers that wrote the code

I knew that existed, but no one ever told me the date. until now. I can't be sure but I'm sure that might apply to Concordes too..?

I've only had to use it on concords, but I assume the backdoor would be the same on a venue.
