We installed a SDSL line in our office , with a Cisco router (serie 800 )
Bandwith upload 1 Mb
Download is 3 Mb
We have some problems for the video protocol , we use a polycom VS4000.
We contact our provider to open all ports(necessary) in the router, but the problem persist.

The problem could be the configuration of the router, or maybe Cisco have some problems with those kind of router.

Any ideas on that.

Thanks for your help, and excuse-me for my english.

Are you running NAT? Where you have private IP addresses internally? (192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x usually). Make sure NAT is turned on in the endpoint.

Also, make sure your provider turned on both TCP *AND* UDP ports to be forwarded to your codec's IP.

Is it possible to have SDSL with different upload and download speeds?

Thanks to all, but seems that the software of the router was not update to 12.2.2 build7
