Direct Visual, a north of england based VC reseller / systems integrator is looking to strengthen it's support team with the addition of 1 person to the tech support team.
Responsibilities of this position are diverse and provide many opportunities for growth, and include:
MCU Administration (Polycom, Tandberg and Cisco)
Administration of Management Systems (TMS, GMS)
Customer Training
Site Installations (including Audio-Visual installation, Network based installation and codec configuration)
Customer support by phone, e-mail and video
Pre-sales support, including customer site visits
The candidate will primarily work with Tandberg, Polycom, Cisco and Radvision technologies, as well as AV technologies such as matrix switching, cabling, control systems, optics and acoustics.
Previous experience in any/all of the above is not essential as training is provided. The main qualities of the canditate that we seek are:
A quick learner, good problem solving capabilities and an interest in the technology.
A willingness to learn and be involved
Ability to work as a team player
Honest and reliable
a 'get the job done' attitude
Unafraid of physically hard work, occasional long hours and overnight stays.
