We are using a Polycom Viewstation FX and have connected to other locations via ISDN. When we try to call a number in Sweden or have them call us, it does not go thru. We get a code 41. Does anyone have any ideas on what might cause this. (We are trying to connect to a Polycom model "Viewstation H.323" in Sweden)
Thanks

assuming you are connecting via ISDN to this Swedish site, it sounds like the problem is in Sweden itself. If they have a Viewstation, then the camera and setup isn't a million miles away from your own. When they boot the system up, the lines should flash yellow as they are tested, then go red or green. If they go green then there must be something there.
Get them to try calling other people, see if they need a prefix to dial out, check their address book, see if they are ISDN numbers, and see if they can call them.

And try dialing other systems in sweden...
this one for example: +46 8 (number removed by me, sorry guys)
If this one works you should belive that the problem is with the local isdn on that system.

The error you are receiving is a Temporary Network Error, so try calling your local Telco and see if they can trace a call from your site to the destination, it seems the issue may be with one of the carriers.. Then your Telco will sort out the problem with the carrier.
I know about this as i had problems connecting to south Africa from New Zealand and found out the SwissCom had stopped carrying our traffic so British Telecom took over for us..
Try it out and see what happens
Good Luck.
