Its specific to your product. Basically call setup is always done on the same specified ports, but all media ports are completely up to the device. The major vendors all publish documents on how to set this up based on their products. I'd start with 'what products do you use' :)

Open port 1720 (TCP) and if you go into Adminsettings > Lan > Firewall there you can choose what TCP/UDP ports you whant to use.

hi thanks,

But i wanna to open ports in router not in FX.So what are the ports should I enable to send and receive video calls.

I have one more question. In FX there is option to use firewall in what purpose?.

When I open the ports in router only I can do public IP calls(is that True? is in it).

Thanks in 'advance...

Senthil.

The port range for H.323 calls is so large that opening them all will just put a BIG hole in you firewall. Buy choosing the ports on the FX unit you can choose to open those same ports on your firewall.

If you go to those settings and select "Use Fixed Ports" it should outmaricly select prots (like 3000-3100 TCP and 3000-3050 UDP).
