Hello to all!
I was attempting to troubleshoot a customer issue yesterday and was coming up empty. I thought perhaps someone here may have some ideas.
Customer has an iPower 680 v6.0 calling through a PIX 515E firewall to a VSX 7000 (tried v 5.1, 7.0, 7.0.1 on 3 separate units). The 7000 sends/receives audio/video. The ipower receives no audio/video. So everyones first thought is that its a firewall issue and I would tend to agree except that I was able to have a successful video call with a ViewStation MP and a Sony PCS-1. I am not completely discounting a firewall config issue but it did seem strange that I tried 3 different VSX units none of which were successful but did have success with the other two units.
I tried the video and audio algorithms, turned off AES, opened all ports to the system IP address, called outside in....none of which resolved the issue.
Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any thoughts as to something I may have overlooked?
