OK - I'm not American, but I know a lot of you are. So for a bit of interest, if VTC technicians could decide the next President of the USA, who would get in?

This poll will not divulge who you vote for, unless you choose to express it...

Is Arnold Schwarzenegger going to run for the next presidential election in 2008?

Keisuke

A huge poster of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (news - web sites) adorning the Roppongi Hills building is visible from the Tokyo highway in Tokyo November 11, 2004. Schwarzenegger arrived in Japan on Wednesday on a trade mission that some think could also be aimed at showing off his diplomatic prowess as
a prelude to a possible presidential campaign in 2008. REUTERS/Kimimasa Mayama

I just wandered if he might have a chance or power to change the way the president is elected in the US by possible amendment in the Constitution as the state governor is already a foreign-born citizen, very famous with actor experience background, and seems to have a good link to Bush. He might try to change that by leveraging all the "strength", by this time implicitly showing by this mission to Japan that even a foreign born US citizen can work hard for the US in its external relations to other countries.

It may be similar to Japanese-Americans soldiers worked hard for the US in WWII in Europe in an effort to gain and improve their social status in the US society.

Also, I am curious if the US public is interested in changing the way impacting the possible amendment in the Constitution.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is not eligible to run for President of the United States as he was not born American.
