I've been talking to numerous vendors to find a web conferencing solution that actually affords the system administrator control over what is allowed in and out of the network.
Everyone touts security but they only secure the endpoints. They do not take into consideration what goes on between these secured parties.
We are looking for a product that allows sharing of applications and even remote control of applications, but only those explicitly defined by our security department.
I'm sure that our security manager has nightmares about a user giving an outside party control of a command pronpt and then going to the restroom while the far end uses this to FTP every sensitive file on our network to a competitor.
What we want is something that only shares or offers control of applications explicitly declared, similar to the way appsec works for Windows. Does anybody know of a product like this?
