Hey all,

I'm a new member under login "networkman" but friends and foes alike call me Mark.
Have only recently gotten into Video (Polycom Sales Certified and working on Technical Certification) with a reseller here in Florida that is branching out from traditional Telecom gear into this brave, new market. We do both Polycom and Sony teamed up with Masergy VPN pipes for IP QoS which seems to be a dynamite combo.
This market seems so much stronger than the traditional telcom/interconnect/network services/"everybody-likes-my-stuff-but nobody-wants-to-pay-for-it market I've toiled in for the past 20 years.
I really enjoy the forums, but don't look for many postings from me because I'm sure most of you have forgotten more about this than I'll probably ever know!
Looking forward to learning more as this site grows!

Hey don't worry at all about your level of expertise. You see believe it or not we need people who don't know much here too. Otherwise we'd have a bunch of big egoed know-it-alls and no one asking any questions! So rest assured that when you ask a question here you're helping the community just as much as the person who answers it. Maybe someone else had the same question but was afraid to ask it or wasn't sure how to word it. You can't have a help forum with where no one needs help :rolleyes:

George, I grew up in Illinois -- I'm DONE shoveling snow! Bet you're glad spring is finally here (looks like lots of May Showers for you lately)
Thanks for the warm welcome and no, down here by the Space Center you can get yourself SAMmed by flying around without NASA clearance so the cape stays put away (not so with the magic beach flip-flops).

sorry about the long wait on the reply. You know, site admin stuff and all.

Yes I am tired of all the snow this past winter but I will hopefully be down there in Florida next year as a new position within my group should be opening up soon!
