I was just wondering what solutions are out there on using stream+powerpoint or stream+stream sync?

Does any one have a simple and a cheap solution?

Depends on how cheap you're after. A couple of years ago, we came up with a very simple in-house solution. We purchased a cheap capture card (Winnov) and set up a PC with Windows Media Encoder to capture audio and video from the VC codec as the source. We then wrote a small app to record slide transition times manually (like a stop watch that recorded each click of the powepoint presentation. This solution is relatively low-tech and very manual. We needed a technician on hand to do the capturing. After the capture, we would then need to index the slide changes into the ASF file we created using Windows Media Indexer. Lastly we'd then publish them onto a website using a Windows Media server to serve out the streams.
Recently, we purchased a Starbak Torrent Torrent VCG which can take H.323 feeds and do all the content synchronization (like Powerpoint sync). You can then serve the streams live and/or for archived and on-demand viewing.

We are also currently using a great little program called SofTV Show And Tell which does Powepoint synchronization and audio capture. It's simply installed onto the PC you use for the Powerpoint presentation (it's like a little plug-in for PPT). You can connect any audio source (mic or audio out from VC) directly into the line-in for the PC audio for the capture. It does all indexing and web page creation, ready for copying directly onto a webserver for publishing.
I think SofTV also have a audio/video capturing app similar to Show And Tell but I found that way too complicated to setup and use.
We purchased the Show And Tell for around $300-$400 a licence. You can download demo versions from their website.

Welp, I'm not sure what endpoints you have, but if you happen to have an iPower, your in luck, the cost is $0.00 .. ALL iPower systems have Streaming+Content (PPT in your case) built in (and free)... It's only the recording (and maybe Multipoint) and AES that you have to pay extra for.

If you are after an conference bridge/MCU that supports both streaming and PC content out of the box take a look at www.codian.com

Currently you can include a Powerpoint presentation in any conference, using VNC (H329 will be supported in an upcoming software release).

All conferences can be streamed for those who do not have H323 enpoints to watch the conference with. The layout for the streaming view can be chosen from a selection of 42 different layouts.

If you want to try this out, take a look at this post that has details of how to log into our demo unit:
