MGC MCU on lease line HELP

As i seen before the lease line connect tru telco to MCU in between is having a DSU/modem and as well as the other remote site connected to DSU/modem then to the VC endpoint.
Do anyone have the connection using ITU-T G.703 with BNC socket interface for the lease line from telco. The connection to the VC endpoint and MCU is tru RJ45 connector.
Which mean i can directly connect to the NetCard in Polycom MGC MCU .
2) Does the DSU or modem just a converted of bandwidth or does in carry signalling or clocking for the lease line from 1 end to another.

1) I have no answer to this part because I have no experience with the equipment.

2) the CSU/DSU should carry clock and signaling across the leased line. It would need to do that to clock the circuit from end to end to keep everything in sync, I.E. Transport layer and Demarcation.
