Hi all,

I'm new to the site so I hope to get give and get good feedback.

Problem: We have Polycom 512 vc units that are connect to 3 isdn lines but we keep experiencing problems with int'l calls what can I do besides having our phone vendor try to trap a call which is going to be difficult because we run the lines through the switch?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

B

Try placing a 56 kbps restricted call. Instead of dialing 384 kbps, dial at 336 kbps.

First -You might want to check to make sure your lines are regristered for international dialing.

Second - Talk to the person in charge of your switch to make the dial string is setup to dial internation numbers

Third - You might want to get you local, long distance carriers and the person in charge of your switch on a conference call to trap the calls - if you don't the carrier tend to blame it on the other one and you will be running around in circles for days
