Injured Marine Watches Daughter's Birth On TV
A Rhode Island mother got help last week from her husband during the birth of their first child -- thanks to videoconferencing.
Sharon Kingdon's husband is a U.S. Marine who was recently wounded overseas. He was sent to Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland to recover. But with his wife due to give birth any day, there was no way he could be at Women & Infants' Hospital in Providence, R.I., the for the big day.
So, what's a mother to do?
