Hi Guys!!!!!!!!

This seems to be a grt platform for vc guys. Have been going through quite a few mails and were quite useful. Hey guys we have Path Navigator at our end with which we have registered all our endpoints across the network. Now wanna understand what will essentially happen if we register our MGC with the Path Navigator. We did that and there was a problem we faced in the endpoints talking to each other. Thus we unregistered the MGC from the pathnavigator and then all calls were happening smoothly. Can someone help us understand why did this happen? How would the calls be routed once the MGC is registered with the Path Navigator?Waiting for a response

tak care and hav a grt day

There could be several issues causing the described problem.

I need to give this response just into the blue since some more detailed info is missing.

Is PathNavigator setup in routed mode?
Are all endpoints and the MCU registerd to Pathnavigator?
Did you configured the connection speed and the network topology including allowed bandwidth per call and in total for each segement?
Did you setup the Group Policy?
Are rough calls blocked?

All of these settings influence who can call whom using what speed and what is the total bandwidth allowed to be used on a segment for video.

I suggest to step through the configuration of Pathnavigator step by step.

Pathnavigator also offers a great diagnostic info for each terminal. Just mark the terminal that has initiated the failed call, click on View Log and you can see all the RAS messages that have been sent and received during the setup of the call, including error messages why a call possibly has failed.
