MGC 7.0 release date???

Is anyone know about when is the MGC 7.0 will release? also the ITU H.264 will it be available in the laterest MGC ?? thx for support :nervous:

When I talked to Polycom last week , they hoped to have it released this month, and yes the H.264 and the new H.239 will be in that release.

I called the techsupport and there seems to be some delay, they told me that it might be around 30. of Jan but he couldn't be sure.

I have heard it is still in Beta and that they are expecting a controlled release in the next couple of weeks, with a full release soon after.

these threads are the best.. going back and looking at the posting dates.

you think people would learn by now not to trust their accord rep when it comes to release dates :) I've seen releases be almost a year late.. hardware even worse

I reckon its more about us all checking with our Reps to see if we all get the same answer, which it seems we do "yes, I think it will be out in a couple of weeks"...

MGC Version 6.10 has been released.
So was Polycom FX/4000 6.0.4 last week incase you missed it.

hehe that would be cool the dongle for our mgc comes next week *grin* i wonder if brian sellers would know hmm....

is there anything special i need to do when going from version 4.61 straight to 6.10 or 7.xx if it just so happened to arrive in that time?

FYI there is a post on Wainhouse stating that 7 came out today but it’s still not on the extranet site. Hopefully it will pop-up either tonight or tomorrow :)

I tested beta and it works like a charm
