Just found this forum and thought I'd take a moment to introduct myself.
My name is Mike Trapp and I am a Systems Engineer with GBH Communications specializing in the Polycom MGC and RadVision MCU/GW and associated software products. I've worked for the past six years in a mostly pre-sales technical capacity working with customers on system and network design with a bit of post sales technical work thrown in when necessary. Prior to working at GBH I spent 3 1/2 years at Polycom (originally Accord Networks) as a Sales Engineer.
In looking through some of the posts here it seems like a very valuable resource for the end user community. The product review on the Codian MCU was very informative. I've done some testing with their system and so far I am very impressed with the quality, features and price point.
If I can be of any assistance with specing out a product or helping with VTC network design please let me know. We currently sell both the Polycom MGC and RadVision line of products. We are also looking at adding the Codian products to our portfolio. I'm based in California, but cover the entire U.S.
