I am trying to communiate between a Vcon Vigo unit and a Via Video II unit. Both computers are running WinXP Pro SP2. The units have their respective latest software installed (Vpoint 5.1.1 for the Vigo and PVX 6 for the Via Video). Both untis can dial the the Codian site and get pic & sound.
Each unit can dial to each other okay and pick up the call, we get sound okay, but no video. If I bring them to the same office and set them up within the same LAN we get perfect picture and sound. But when I dial throught the net from remote sites, we get sound only and no picture.
We are using Netgear Firewall/modem/routers and they are both configured the same. I believe I have all necessary ports open.
Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong? Or why does the video drop out once we go through the net? (Like I say, dialling the Codian test site is no problem for each).
