The latest version of code for the MXP systems is 1.5. It is for all MXP systems. You will need to get your release key from Tandberg for the update.

Tandberg USA support (800) 889-7440

For software

Why stop there? Move to F1.7 :-)

We found a serious problem with F1.5 for set tops that negotiate iSIF (768kbps by default) where system has a high chance of rebooting. This exists in F1.4 and F1.5. I highly recommend an upgrade. This is resolved in F1.7 (F1.6 was a manufacturing related adjustment for the T1500 PAL only) and does not require a release key to upgrade.

This fix is also found in all future software.

1.7 wasn't there when I posted. Thanks for the update Sean.

Sean,

I notice there are two version of 1.7 software. There is file s50000f17 and s50001f17. What are the differences between the two versions? Thanks.

Due to AES export laws, we have to maintain two software loads, one with AES code, one without. Therefore all zeros is with AES, all zeros and a 1 at the end is without.

Sean,
Are there release notes posted anywhere? If they are I must of missed them.

Thanks.
