We have an immediate opening for a Videoconferencing Systems Engineer. The responsibilities of this position include the following:
Install videoconferencing equipment at customer sites.
Repair equipment at customer sites.
Update customer equipment software revision levels.
Track customer service contracts and work with sales staff to renew service agreements.
Train customers on site and off-site via videoconferencing
Manage equipment returns to manufacturers.
Maintain videoconferencing equipment in ICU Technologies boardroom.
Maintain ICU Technologies videoconferencing bridge.
Maintain ICU Technologies network.
Assist in Sales support.
Continuously update yourself on all aspects of videoconferencing technologies.
Work closely with Systems Engineers from manufacturers that we buy equipment from.
Support and assist at technology shows that ICU Technologies is involved in.
Requirements:
An Electronic Technician or Technologist diploma from a Community College.
Network troubleshooting and resolution skills ISDN, LANS
Two years work experience.
A desire to ensure all Customer/ICU Technologies equipment is tuned, tweaked and perfected at all times.
Customer focused, self-starter, an attitude of "whatever it takes to get the job done."
Off the end of the scale interpersonal skills.
Although most of the technical activities will be performed from 8:30AM to 5:00PM there will be the need to work before and after hours with no additional compensation.
Salary: to be negotiated
