I am having a problem staying in a secure loop. I am running a tandberg 6000, adtran 512 and a kiv-7. I am connecting via secure bridge and point to point and either way im taking hits casuing the kiv to lose sync and bigtime frame freeze. I am dialing out using 4 channels 8 lines to make a 512 connection. i have had the telco check the lines and trunks for any timing issues but none where found. ANY IDEAS PLEASE!!

First step: Take a deep breath :grin: Second step: ID your eqipment model e.g. KIV-7 HS or KIV-7 HSB. Check further down in this forum for the KIV-7 recommended settiings posted by Mr. Marlow (these are GTG) and make sure your crypto config is correct. Also check your ADTRAN config using the settings posted here as well paying close attention to your DTE options..
BTW, is your IMUX able to establish and hold a call before you bring your KIV on-line?

thanks i have a kiv-7 hsb, and have verified the settings on the kiv-7 and adtran and they match up ok to what is posted. and yes the imux does hold a call before the kiv goes online. this problem is only when we connect to a hub, and yes we have asked the hub if anyone else is having a problem but it is only us.

I'd like to see if I can recreate this in our lab with HSBs. What version of Tandberg software are you running, and what is the firmare version of the 512?

Also, how are your circuits supplied to you. Do they come straight to you from the local telco, or are they coming off of a switch or PBX on base? If they are supplied from equipment on base, what is that equipment?

One more........What type of equipment are they running at the hub?

thanks but we fixed our problem, it was when we called secure and things got disconnected we tried re-dialing to fast and it wouldnt resync, we had to wait at least a minute before redialing.
