I have been working in vc for more than 2 years now mainly with polycom, sony, zydacron and vtel. I am based in the UK, but would love the chance to take my skills abroad. Is it possible to get a job in the US using my VC skills? Can anyone help?

I can't speak for the US market as a whole, but we can't seem to find many experienced VTC people. I am in the Washington D.C. area and I come across jobs all of the time, however, many of these jobs are in the federal government, with many requiring security clearances. A few of the government jobs I have seen which do not require a clearance were actually filled by people who were not US born, so there may be opportunities. There is also a great technology sector in Virginia, just outside of DC, where Tandberg and Cisco have a presence. Radvision, Vcon, and Polycom also have offices nearby. There are also many contractors and integrators in the area.

thanks, is there a decent website where I can search jobs? This seems to be the best place.

TANDBERG careers can be found on the TANDBERG website at www.tandberg.net (http://www.tandberg.net)

For job searches country wide you can always check out www.monster.com or www.hotjobs.com. If you find an area you like you can always check the local papers. I know that the Washington Post out of Washington D.C. has goood online classifieds.
