just thinking about kicking bell to the curb and have been doing some research on VOIP over my highspeed internet connection. I know the latency issues, and have used similar products but what I am looking for are experinces any of you may have first hand with using Vonage.

TIA.

I haven't used it myself, but there are several guys I work with that have Vonage, as well as several of my clients and they all swear by it. All of them have said that the quality of the calls sounds much better than the old analog. I have been looking into it but am still having concerns about cutting away from that good old 100+ year old network that has always been faithful.

Same for me, I haven't used it, but I haven't heard one bad thing about it. My coworker has it and I saw all the features that you can do online, get an email when you get a voicemail, see caller id logs etc. I think I'm about to switch to it myself actually.

My mother uses Vonage in Washington and she had two major problems: 1. when her friends would call it would be as long distance, even if they lived in the same state. 2. when she called me up he in Europe the quality was horrible. She asked foe a local number for an additional 10 bucks and after that the quality was much better. Weird.
