I was wondering if any one had issues with the 770, version 1.2- 1.4
registering with a gatekeeper and/or connecting to the MGC 100.
I have two units, one works great, on version 1.3(main board rev.03) and one does not(main board rev02). Firewall and settings are duplicated for each. I initially had a problem with rev 02 dropping offline, it would suspend audio and then would drop. Upgraded to 1.4 per a Tandberg rep recommendation( my customer does not have maintenance for upload to version2. :cross-eye But when we updated to 1.4 neither would register with the gatekeeper and we lost video and audio streams. Went back to version 1.3 one was good, one was not. Went completely back to 1.2 to restore to initial indicaitons and now it doesn't work either.. Has anyone else had a problem with this version ?

We have seen similar situations with our bridging provider. We are running Classic 2500 and tried both E3.4 and 4.0 to see if it was a version issue. We would see about 1 secondary connection per hour. We were in CP lecture mode and it was normally the SEND site that would drop to "No Incoming Video". I sent several syslog and packet captures to Tandberg and was informed that our units were operating normally. This went on daily for over 20 weeks. We demo'ed a Tangberg MCU and did not have any connection issues. Also, the issue would not occur in Point-to-Points with other Tandberg units, even using the built-in MCU. Our video provider was working with Polycom, who finally provided them with a patch to apply to the MGC that has fixed that issue. Polycom claimed it was frame rate bursts that exceeded 30 fps, but nothing sent to Tandberg was found to have exceeded 30 fps. I will let you know the version or patch that was applied when I am made aware of it as I need to notify Tandberg TS of the fix so all tickets can be cleared.

The version of MGC Software that corrected the issue with our equipment was 6.0.3.

I am already running that version on my MGC. so that should not be a problem. Thanks for confirming that information thought. Supposedly my customer says that Tandberg told them they needed a software upgrade. They are in the process of ordering maintenance to do same - Hopefully that will in fact resolve the issue.
Thanks
