I notice that when using the latest Conference Composer (2.8.2) that the volume control macros of the input sources are controlled via the FADER. This is ok by me, no more reference adjustments etc, but my quesion is...
Do you set the gain structure of the system to be 'extra' loud so you can cut the FADER level down to get 'fake' positive gain? Or, can you reduce the FADER level to say -10 immediatly and then increase the FADER for positive gain without any problems? I'm assuming this would essentially be doing the same thing, but a little confirmation would be nice!

PS: Nice to see that a bug I found is finally fixed! You could never restore a preset to all devices when the device chain was offline. Talk about a huge pain in the a$$ when trying to do a large system offline.
