Has anyone encountered issues with an Intel TeamStation v5.0 only partially connecting via H.323 into a Polycom MGC? We have an H.323 public internet site that we're dialing out to from our MGC. Audio connects fine but video never establishes. We've changed the conference type to VS, hard set the audio and video algorithms but to no avail. The unit connects fine pt-t-pt to other sites.

dare I say it, but could this be an undocumented feature of the MGC? Can they dial in? I guess you're running a recent version of MGC, does it appear in the Polycom list of interoperable sites, or more importantly, the un-interoperable list? (that's quite a long one now...) :)

Our firewalls block unauthorized (non gatekeeper-registered) inbound traffic to our MGC's so they cannot dial-in. Outbound is not blocked. I've got a ticket open with Polycom and am waiting a response.

You might try changing the ep video setting from auto to H.261. I ran into a similar issue when testing the MGC ver 7 software with a Z360. Since the Teamstation is using a Zydacron Z340/350 card it may have the same problems. Also just an fyi if the client wants to upgrade they can put windows 2000/xp on the system and use the Zydacron software instead. The interface is not as nice but the newer software is much better from a video quality and stability standpoint.
Good Luck,

if memory serves.. there were issues with the TS doing certain audio protocals with later technologies. I'd force it to g711 and see if that helps.
might get lucky with some old ptel articles on the kb.. but this is straining my memory :)
