VSX8000 using Crestron

Hi All,

This is my 1st post - hope I'm doing it right!

I have a Crestron system controlling a VSX8000 CODEC which in turn has a Sony EVI-D70 camera attached. The problem is that the camera moves (all directions & zoom) in slow incremental steps. I have tried using the crestron module which was downloaded from their site and using a serial I/O within SIMPL windows - still to no avail.

We also attached a polycom camera and have the same symptom. Baud rates have been checked also..

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Make sure you are using the module for Camera Control and you are maping your joins for camera up, down, right and left to this module not to the navigation up, down, right and left.
