Hello, I'm an educational technologist at Bainbridge College, a community college down near the Florida line. I'm glad I found this site, as I am in the process of switching our videoconferencing from a closed statewide network (GSAMS) to IP. I have experience at the function end of videoconferencing, but haven't really had much control over what equipment I have until now. The classroom I am doing will seat about 24 students. As I wear a lot hats around here (online course designer and administrator, technology trainer, video and multimedia producer, part-time faculty, etc.), I'm hoping whatever I chose will be easy to use and maintain.
My background is educational technology, but I also worked in small market radio and TV, so I have some basic technical knowledge of AV. It appears there are some sharp folks here, so I look forward to learning and sharing with you.
