tandberg connectivity

Hey Guys,

I am having a minor problem with a tandberg 880 mxp. When i patch the 880 into a nortel 470-48t switch directly there is no data passed between the 2. However, when I plug the tandberg into an unmanaged 8 port d-link switch and then patch the switch into the nortel 470 everything works fine. Any ideas?

Check the negotiation in the switch. The problem may be which mode u configure in the switch. Try to put in Auto Negotiation in the switch.
