Hii this is satya from India
iam facing intermediate restarting problem in VSX-7000,This restarting happening while During VC Call also, some times this is happening during startup(after switch on the VC during alert mode).these same problem in all most in 10 systems.
Please help me any facing same problems

While in the call u r getting is restart ?.
When switch on the system u r getting is restart?
Need some more info
1.What alert you are getting when the system starts?
2.What software you are using?
3.Is there any power fluctuation? check the power.
4.Try to do Telnet trace while in the call?.

What software version is installed on your VSX 7000?
We are also having intermittent restart issues, primarily with VSX 8000 running software rev. 8.0
I'm not certain that we can say, definitively, that we've seen this issue with VSX 7000 endpoints running rev. 8.0.
Polycom is aware of this issue (VSX 8000 with 8.0) and are working to remedy the problem.

"Picture Frezzes some seconds and gives some sound after that restarts automatically"
System Running Software version : 7.0.1
No power Fluctuation we are using cleaned UPS power

We had this problem w/VS4000 and we found that if they are well ventalated they will reboot themselves. Not sure if this is same issue, just thought I would pass on. Thanks:)

Did you try the Telnet Trace ?. If not try this and send me the trace copy.
One more quick option to erase the ERFL in the VSX 7000 and rebuid the new software(try 7 x version not 8). This will solve your probelm.

If you have Visual Concert VSX, try to remove it then do the call, observe if it will be the same behavior.

The VSX 7000 codecs i have seen hate to be touched or moved--some of them even reboot when situated on an unstable surface.
make sure the codec is mounted properly. make sure the connection from sub-woofer to back of the codec is tight and secure.
if problem still persists, upgrade yr S/W to the latest rev (i believe it is 8.0.3)
