problem with polycom PVX.

First post-----

in my company we have many Tandberg 880 units and for few users we have deployed desktop vc solution.
config -
Dell XPS laptop, Panasonic 3CCD camcorder, polycom PVX 6.1

problem -
well its random problem. from few systems i can make call to tandberg systems and from few systems i can not.
and strangely from few of them can receive call from tandberg and few can not. what can be the reason.
when tandberg or other polycom pvx is in same LAN they should communicate each other.

what can be the reason. do i need to do something with firewall or local lan connection settings or any setting in tandberg 880.

please help......

Need more info your setup to indetify the problem.

1.What firewall you are using for your lan?.
2.What subnet number and range you are using for the LAN?
3.You said few of them can't connect to the tandberg and the same from the tandberg to the few of PVX,is that right and its randomly or not?

Problem may be...
1.What information (error) you are getting when you intiate the call from the pvx or tandberg (if its not handshake you will get the info about the call).
2.It is not the problem of firewall because some of the pvx can make call to the tandberg and some can't but all are in the same lan.
3.Need to check the subenet, if your some of PVX in the different subent you can't make call
4.Check the gateway address of the pvx's
