I need some help figuring out an intermittent problem with a Polycom VSX 8000 CODEC. The system is using an Adtran to dial out. Sometimes when dialing out the screen will flash and the codec will automatically put a 1 or a dot (.) in front of the number I am dialing the dot usually gets placed after the 3rd digit in the dial out number. I have checked the administrative settings and there is no prefix set for dialing out. It does not happen all of the time and it can be corrected by reseting the Adtran. Has anyone heard of this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
