Unwanted calls

Here's a state of things...

The boardroom in my office has a Tandberg 6000 with a variety of peripherals including AMX touch panel and back projection. It's on manual answer so that they can't connect by accident. So I have a couple of ideas.

plan a - turn all tones off. that way they'll never know there's a call coming in.
plan b - install a remote power device so that I can turn the kit on and off without having to get the key for the back projection room.

Has anyone any experience of remote power devices? any recommendations for this?

Why don't you just set the system in DO NOT DISTURB mode while it's idle?

The codec doesn't have a timer for that function, but if you have an external control device, you can certainly issue the command to the codec after your defined time.
