We usually connect calls at 384kbps. This means that there is 320kbps available for the video data. The users are happy with the quality of this data rate.
When we start up a PowerpOint over DuoVideo the 320kbps of video bandwidth gets divided into 2 160kbps video channels (one for the people and one for the Duo Video). This seems like a waste to me. Why would we need to constantly send 160kbps for an image that changes once every 10 minutes or so?
Ideally I would like it so that it only sends DuoVideo info when the PPT changes so that we can keep the 320kbps feed for the presenter. I doubt this is available. But is there any way that we can limit the DuoVideo to only use say 32kbps so that we can have more bandwidth of the presenter?
Thanks,
Andrew
