Somebody knows wich is the protocol used by MSN Messenger 7.5 in VideoCalls?
I think it is an interleaved audio/video codec developed by Logitech.
It uses udp datagrams (not rtp).
Anyone could help me?
Thanks,
Mattia

Yes, there is a new codec which apparently was developed by Logitech. The name of it is Mimic V2. Considering that microsoft seems to be leaning toward their propriotary implimentation of RTC, which is basically integrated into Windows, I would have to imagine that the codec is basically some kind of extension to their existing framework.
Also, I'm assuming that the messaging service is going to continue to support the codecs used by previous versions of the MSN/Windows Messenger clients, due to the fact that a very large number of people never bother upgrading their clients. But that's just an assumption. If they stop supporting all their previous protocols, it wouldn't be the first time.
The codec, by the way, has already been completely reversed-engineered, which is impressive, considering that the client hasn't even made it past the beta stage yet.
