First off, I am a newbie. I have no VTC experience, at all.
So we have two offices. One is linked up with a t-1 to the net and the other has 1.024 on a PRI line. There is a VPN between them carrying some synch traffic and smtp.
Question: Will the VPN between these two offices support decent quality VTC?
Will I need to implement some variety of QoS to make it fly? Who makes a good QoS box? How's Kentrox?
I'll also need a reccomendation on a solid VTC product that is realtively easy to implement that will link us up and also provide the capabilities to hook up with third parties. It will be set up in a smallish conference room...never more than 10 people. The tandberg 3000 mxp profile was looking appropriate, although I have no idea what the cost will be like.
