Lip Sync problems over IP

We're trying to solve lip sync problems on our network. Using a Tandberg MCU with Tanberg end points. IP to IP, V.35 to IP works fine. When we introduce the MCU, we have challenges over the LAN out to the MAN. Know any off-the-cuff solutions we should look towards?

I know this isn’t a good long term solution but back in the old days toggling the mute on the effected endpoint used to help with such problems.
