Hi,
Now that i've got my video confrencing system up and running, Now i am able to make calls sucessfully i've embarked on the next mission, setting up sip.

Ok, I've created a new account for it in EIC, its our phone system software running on windows server 2003, Thats all fine,

I've got the following settings and i don't know where to put them.

Indentification sip address = 580
Connection sip address = sip:580@192.168.100.200:5060

Our sip server is located at 192.168.100.230

And in EIC the station name is tandberg = I don't think this is relevant to setting up the phone system

Anyways i've tried putting these settings into the codec and now it can take incoming voice calls via its Direct dial in no.

however when i try to make calls it comes up with Disconnected 16 in the overview section immediately,

Any ideas as to what i should do, Currently i believe the problem is with the codec rather than the phone system But it could be my NAT setup thats causing the problem

Thanks
Irishman

You say it won't call anything, what are you trying to call? Other SIP endpoints, or audio only calls to phones or video calls to ISDN end points?

You should be able to make audio calls from the TB to your cell phone etc, but very unlikely that you will be able to make calls to ISDN video systems - your phone switch is unlikely to be a SIP->H.320 gateway.

Hope this is a start.
