Newbie inquiry about Polycom VSX 7000 and SONY PCS1

I know that both SONY PCS-1 and PolycomVSX 7000 support multi-node connectivity. I tried to find out how many nodes each device supported, but could not find any data. I read somewhere that SONY supports upto 3 nodes and Polycom supports 6 nodes, since I need to give reason for choosing Polycom over SONY PCS-1 this would be an important criteria. VSX 7000s and E will support 3+1 multipoint video calls.VSX8000 series with the latest software will support 4 + 1 multipoint videocalls.

sony PCS G series will support upto 5+1 multipoint video calls.

I have tried convincing people at my place to go for the Polycom 8000 series but of no use, I have to choose between Polycom VSX 7000 and SONY PCS-1, where can I obtain the details or any kind of info on how many multi-point video calls both there cameras support. Thanks for your help.

I tried looking at the websites but could not get much info there, although I found that Polycom VSX 7000 supports 3+1 multi-points and Polycom VSX 8000 would be 4+1. So SONY PCS-1 supports more multi-points than Polycom, and also supports cascading. I found that Polycom also supports cascading but could not get any details about it. Thanks guys for your help.
