Anyone heard anything about Microsoft getting into the hardware based VoIP phones? Wonder how that'll impact folks like Polycom. Microsoft used to do mostly software based stuff, it'll certainly be interesting to see what they can come up with for the phones.

Any thoughts?

From the press release that came out yesterday it sounds like Polycom may be making them for Microsoft.

That looks a lot like the lenses they sometimes use to create QuickTime VR movies. Only this one appears to use multiple cameras where as the lens I’m thinking of uses a single camera from the bottom and is basically a pair of spherical mirrors attached at the center.
