Has anyone else run across issues with the Polycom VS/FX series while doing H.323 calls. We have been gettings freeze framing, blue screens and alot of video jitter whenever we use a VS4000, FX on our IP VTC network. Side by side through our MCU's, IP to IP or IP to ISDN the VS/FX series always has issues and any of the Tandberg products run clean. Polycom's VSX series all run smoothly. We made sure all the VS/FX systems are as up to date as they can get, have even tried changing ports speed/setup on the boxes network interfaces and still get jitter and delay using these side by side in comparision calls.

Any ideas or is the VS/FX legacy series just not as up to speed as the newer VSX series and all Tandberg systems on thier network interfaces??

Thanks

How simple is the network? Are you placing calls to devices that are on the same broadcast domain (vlan, switch)? Or are you going across routers? If you can simplify the network that would help the troubleshooting process. Sometimes it could be a variety of issue's (AES set, router software interop not supporting the h.323 code,) Also you can try reclaiming the flash on the FX (reboot the system and hold down the button on the bezel of system for at least a min) or possibly ERFL'ing the system (process is here http://eknowledge.polycom.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=17,E=0000000000004265459,K=8598,Sxi=14,Case=ob j(23776) )
