The Cisco IOS does offer proxy services.. as well as Gatekeeper (provided you have the correct IOS load). The proxy is mostly replaced by the IP-IP Gateway tho (another IOS feature)

hi
Thanx for post and when using ip to ip gateway what will be the idenfitication of endpoints ?using E.164 numbers or direct IP calls between endpoints.I assume we can't use direct IP's when using IP to IP gateway instead of that to use type of number plan, am i right?.

I've only been able to test the Gatekeeper, Call Routing, and Alternate gatekeeper functions. All functions have given a stellar performance  . Has anyone tried the proxy service?
