Secure VTC Marquee

I am not sure where to post this.
I am designing a Secure VTC and I am in need of an information sign that I can mount on the front wall to display information like the VTC's classification, mute status, on-air status etc. Does anyone know of a product that will do this?
In the past I have hand made these signs with limited success. I will be controlling the sign with a Crestron control system, RS-232 or relay contact.

Have you looked into the LED signs? Some of them are controllable via RS-232. If you are looking for a simple Secure/Non-Secure sign that can be run from contact closure you can check with Criticom, Inc.

I am not locked into LED signs. I do need to display the mute status.

I have used a LED display for this. Thet are available in Multiple colors, good for red/green indications, and are rs 232 controlable so you an reconfigure them whenever you want. You can even get them at Office Max for less than $500
