Polycom encryption problem

Hi all,

I have a problem using AES encryption between Polycom devices using software version 7.5 and 8.5.
I tried to connect a VSX3000 v7.5 and VSX3000 v8.5 using AES but encryption failed (only connected unencrypted). Same results using V500 v7.5 and VSX3000 v8.5.
I also tried using MGC50+, the results are the same.

Is it a software incompatibility issue, any experience?

I have noticed some issue's w/ AES going between various routers. How many hops between the devices? or is it in the same subnet?

The case was a real nuissance: it seems that the image wasn't uploaded properly - I used the common one for all VSX. I re-loaded the image only for VSX3000, now it works properly.
However, this was the only problem after the first installation. Strange.

I think it's the case of typical electronics. :)

Glad to hear you got the issue resolved, though - had no problems with any of my Polycom gear so far. :)
