Hi,
I am using a VTC model VSX 7000 and during a multipoint video conference call, firts we have noticed a feedback noise every few minutes during the VTC which is heard in all sites
and secondly after 30 or 40 minutes that the VTC started, the other countries were not listening to us.
Does anybody know why could be happening?
Thanks
Isis

You havent said what systems your connecting to, and what version of software you are running.
Also does this happen in a PT to PT call?

sounds like simply a echo problem at one of the sites. check your microphone placements and make sure people are not trying to move them during the conference

I have had the same issue, but only during point to point calls. One particular site hears and has the feed back noise. I overcame this by using specific audio settings for this site. I turned off the echo canceller and enabled the Polycom stereo surround sound. As long as I keep my volume down I have no feed back. If I turn my volume up to much then we get some of the feed back, but not as bad. Just my two cents.

Hello,
Its critical that those members in conference are muted when not talking !!!!
