Video Conference Technician/Engineer
Google has an immediate opening for a highly skilled Video Conference Technician who will play a key role in delivering to Google cutting edge video services and technologies. We're looking for a team player with a solid foundation in providing exceptional customer service and support in a fast paced environment for internal users of our global video services program.
The successful candidate will be highly qualified in supporting integrated video and audio conference systems, working directly with internal users in different levels of management, engineering, and administrative positions.

General Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in CS or EE, or equivalent
• Five (5) or more years experience in supporting and troubleshooting technology surrounding video conferencing (preferably with Tandberg systems and products) including room/desktop systems, MCU’s, GateWay, GateKeeper, and Crestron systems over IP and ISDN networks.
• Working knowledge of H.323 and H.320 networks.
• Solid understanding of videoconferencing standards including (but not limited to) H.261, H.263, H.264, G.711, G.722, G.728, H.242, H.243, H.248,
• H.450, H.239
• Experience with audio and video in an integrated video/audio conferencing environment.
• Skilled in PC and Microsoft Office applications and programs.
Specific Job Duties:
• Provide hands on and remote support/troubleshooting of integrated video and audio conferencing equipment in conference room and mobile system environments.
• Work directly with customers to assist in conference setup and equipment use in a professional and courteous manner (excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must).
• Provide one-on-one and group training sessions for users.
• Provide misc. reports and documentation.
• Work with vendors technical support organizations to coordinate troubleshooting process for all related troubles in a timely manner.
