Hi, I just found this interesting forum and have learned a lot form reading it. Has anyone here heard about myforum2?

I recently have gotten involved with it. I am a retired grandmother and was fascinated with the possibilities when I first saw it. It seems to me to be a user friendly option for us non-professsional types who want to be able to stay in touch face-to-face, even while on the move. I don't understand techie jargon, however, this is how I understand it.

Ayo Benite in England was one of the developers of Macromedia, and created a personal communication module for online real-time communication. He was encouraged to create a commercial product using the prototype he had developed, and a new company, myforum2, was created to market the new system, which was launched in February 2006.

There is no sofrward to download, as it is web-based. It offers a personalized online forum (website meeting place) for friends, family, and business users to see, talk, and text chat with up to 4 people simultaneously, for as long as wanted, with anyone, anywhere around the world who has access to a high speed internet device - desktop, laptop, or handheld PC. No telephone charges. It uses a safe and secure private network server. The user can send unlimited email, vidmail, record and acheive meetings, share/edit/save documents through password protected functions; and there is the opportunity to webcast from your computer to small groups to up to 500 people, or more. The plans have very affordable options, with monthly subscription, and a referral rewards program. Webcam and internet headset, live customer and technical support all are included.

I use it to talk to my family and friends, and home business colleagues. It is easy, and the picture quality is very good. There are occassional "burps" in the transmission when there is heavy bandwidth traffic. I am using it with wireless cable on my laptop at home.

I'd like anyone's feedback on it. There appears to be a wide range of expertise here.
