i think ur using a open source Darwin server and to get video stream from FX or EX and to stream to the users right?.

1.FX and Ex will do streaming with out a additional streaming server.
2.If you want to get video stream from FX or Ex you need capture card to capture video stream and then redo the streaming through Darwin server.
3.You can use VCR output as the input for video capture cards.
